Arizona Cement Plant

Pivotal represented an owner of a cement operation in Arizona. This plant had not been able to produce at full capacity due to factors out of their control which kept revenue for the plant down. Despite the local assessor’s initial position that cement plants were not experiencing any form of obsolescence in the current market, we were able to provide compelling evidence and testimony during our negotiations.  As a result, the county ultimately agreed to grant economic and functional obsolescence to the owners.  Good relationships with the local assessor, a knowledge of the cement industry, and the ability to quantify obsolescence ultimately led to an agreement between the county and the property owners.

Through persistent negotiations and good relations with assessors, Pivotal was able to obtain multiple years of tax savings of more than $575,000 for their client.

Our family owned company has done business this way for over 25 years. We want to be your counselor, partner, and strong advocate.
