Automotive Dealerships

A national auto dealership was on the right track and had been using a cadre of tax consulting firms to manage their real property interests in Arizona and around the country.  The consultants prior to Pivotal were using a standard industry process to earn reductions, but in the year prior to Pivotal taking over, the dealership’s Arizona properties received no reductions; therefore, no savings.

Pivotal Tax Solutions was engaged to provide property tax consulting and personal property compliance services for a major building materials provider with locations in multiple states and several geographic regions across the country.  

Property Use and Exemptions

A student housing developer engaged Pivotal to review their Texas Portfolio for property tax appeal opportunities.  The multi-family structures were built on land owned by a Texas university under a possessory interest agreement with a long-term lease that would revert the improvements and land back to the university upon maturation.
