Pivotal represented an owner of a senior living facility in the Dallas Texas area which had several misfortunes including a fire. After the remodel, the local appraisal district added a significant amount of value to the property. Through an appeal, Pivotal was able to successfully argue that the new improvements did not add significant value to the operation but in fact hindered their operation due to lost rents.

As a result of the appeal the owner saved over $370,000 in tax savings.
