Texas Suburban High-rise
Pivotal was engaged to assist an owner with a high-rise building in the Houston market area. The property was experiencing a large amount of vacancy and the local appraisal district was not sympathetic. Pivotal was able to come in, appeal the property and put together evidence for the board which showed the rents in the area were much lower and the vacancy much higher than the county believed.
Due to research, Pivotal was able to convince the appraisal district to lower their valuation and achieved over $130,000 reduction in taxes.
